TVSFPE will be meeting Thursday (10/1/2026) at Mimi's Café in Turkey Creek:  https://www.mimiscafe.com/locations/knoxville/

The meeting will be from 6pm to 8pm. The speaker is Bruce Resnick, VP of Fixed Systems for Fire Suppression Solutions, LLC. He will be presenting on: 

"Fire Suppression Technologies". 

Description: Bruce Resnick, VP of Fixed Systems for Fire Suppression Solutions, LLC, will discuss the use of GreenSol aerosol both in fixed systems for high value facilities, and portable aerosol units that can be easily deployed by an individual.  We will learn how the aerosol works and the benefits of aerosol over traditional bottled or high-pressure systems.  Bruce will also speak about several relatively new fluids in the US market, including TRF+ (Thermal Runaway Fluid) and WFP (Wildfire Pro) that are in use all over the world.  The discussion will include video of the various products in use.


Speaker Introduction: Chief Bruce Resnick (Ret.) brings 33 years of full-time public safety experience, including two decades as a police chief. He holds a Master’s in Public Service from Marquette University, is a graduate of the FBI National Academy, and holds certifications as a Firefighter 3 and Advanced EMT. In addition to his public safety career, Chief Resnick is a commercial airplane and helicopter pilot, as well as a certified scuba diver.
